Berry Magic Spritzer: Color-Changing Elderberry Honey Mocktail
It's not magic. It's just really, really pretty honey. (Okay, it's a little magic.)
Dissolve our Elderberry Rosehip honey in warm water, pour it over ice, top with sparkling water — then squeeze in half a lemon and watch the whole glass bloom from deep ruby to violet right before your eyes. Kids think it's a potion. Adults know it's just delicious. Everybody asks for another.
You'll need:
- 1 tablespoon Bodhi Bear Elderberry Rosehip honey, dissolved in 2 oz warm water, then cooled
- Ice
- Sparkling water
- Half a lemon
- Frozen berries, for garnish
Make it:
1. Dissolve the honey in warm water and let it cool.
2. Fill a glass with ice and pour the honey mixture over.
3. Top with sparkling water.
4. Squeeze in the lemon — slow, so everyone sees the color shift. This is the show.
5. Garnish with frozen berries and serve immediately.
Save this for your next gathering. It's the drink people photograph before they taste.
